The Firmware upgrade for the Model D40 & E50 phones will be rolled out tonight to fix previously identified issues. However whilst doing our testing it has been identified that:

~ In auto-headset mode: Outbound calls- The headset button does not light up when you initiate the call by pressing OK or DIAL. The headset button does light up correctly on inbound calls, and if you initiate an outbound call by pressing the headset button.

~ In normal (not-auto-headset) mode: Outbound calls- Speaker key does not light up when you initiate a call by pressing OK or DIAL. Loudspeaker button does light up correctly on inbound calls, and if you initiate an outbound call by pressing the loudspeaker button."

The manufacture has been able to replicate the issue and will be working with their research and development department for a future update.

    RFO 14.07.21

On 14.07.21 at 10:14 we became aware of an issue at one of our data centres where one of the links started flapping at an extremely fast rate causing our platform to experience an outage. Due to speed of the flapping, the automatic failover was not able to kick in and so the link had to be disabled manually. The consequence of this put an excess load on our servers and database clusters, preventing new calls to be made and ongoing calls to be terminated plus phones to deregister. The re-registration process caused the available port capacity for registration to be exhausted. We have now further increased capacity and improved the monitoring of the cluster going forward.

After further investigation and updates to the server, the Mobex Desktop solution has been moved back to phone.sip2sip.net from beta.phone.sip2sip.net. Whilst both services will continue to work for some time, should your customer experience any issues please ask them to:

    1) Type phone.sip2sip.net in the browser

    2) If the browser returns to phone.beta.sip2sip.net, try the Ctrl+Shift+Del operation to delete the cache browser data and then type the address again.

    Thank you.
